Position Responsibilities:

  • Promote safety awareness and keeping safety as a number one priority on a daily basis.

  • Work closely with Changeover Technician to ensure understanding of directions.

  • Help set up jobs from scratch in extrusion or bag making.

  • Make in-process adjustments to maintain product quality.

  • Create boxes on and load fanfolds into Pack Size Equipment.

  • Glue regular slotted containers (RSC’s).

  • Obtain all related production material and stage for extruders and packaging.

  • Assist in the changeover of machines.

  • Train new employees as needed.

  • Provide coverage for Packer/Inspectors during breaks.

  • Provide back-up to Changeover Technician.

Essential Functions:

  • Lift, push, pull, and move up to 60lbs.

  • Walk, bend, stretch, crawl & climb.

  • Ability to see, hear and communicate regularly.

  • Standing for extended periods of time.

  • No fear of heights.

  • Safe operation of all equipment.

  • Wear all personal protective equipment required by Company policy and follow all safety policies and procedures.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to handle & resolve problems.

  • Must have a good working knowledge of blown film extrusion and related processes.

  • Solid understanding of process and equipment capabilities.

  • Excellent attendance, punctuality and safety record.
