Position Purpose
The Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services is accountable for planning, organizing and directing services within Renown Regional Medical Center and certain health network affiliated departments. The incumbent assures that cost-effective and high quality services and patient care is delivered through the departments under his/her responsibility.
Nature and Scope
The Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services is a significant partner in the strategic positioning of Renown Regional Medical Center to ensure competitiveness in the market place. Within this framework, the Vice President, along with other senior leaders, is responsible for directing and implementing strategic financial planning and cost containment, promoting superior quality customer service and ensuring that a desirable physical plant is maintained, all to ensure that Renown Regional Medical Center is the local facility of choice.
The Vice President works in tandem with the management staff and executive leadership to resolve and plan for internal difficulties while developing organization-wide systems for problem identification, resolution and prevention. This position is charged with the coordination and development of comprehensive departments within Ancillary services in coordination with nursing and clinical departments.
This position does not provide patient care.

Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. A bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field required. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Broad, extensive and progressively responsible directly related work experience in health care administrative and/or managerial positions and a minimum of 5 years leadership experience.
