Oracle Senior Director, Partner Online Ordering in Reno, Nevada

Manages a team that engages in business development strategies and programs in support of Oracle's Sales Organization. Manages, through lower level managers and directors, a team of business development consultants. Team is responsible for developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment or channel. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. With guidance from the vice president, oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity and identification of customer needs. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions. Manages budget. Provides support to marketing and sales programs. Participates in implementation of organizational changes in line with changing business and market. Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Business management experience, and Marketing/Business Development experience in the high-tech industry preferred. Proven leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. 7 - 10 years previous people management experience. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations. Professional credentials in Marketing. Academic credentials desirable. Working knowledge of business development job. Thorough understanding of Oracle's products and services. Ability to lead a team in all areas of strategic business development. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability. Senior Director – Partner Online Ordering Global Sales Operations Job Description: The Senior Director of Partner Online Ordering will be responsible for online partner orders and transactional approvals. As the business owner for indirect ordering on Oracle Partner Store(OPS) and B2B(XML) the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that partners can transaction online eligible orders successfully. A key part of the role will be adapting to new products and initiatives at Oracle and supporting them with the online tools. Working with the various stakeholders including, executive management, Global A&C, Finance, Global Order Management, Channel Managers, Mergers and Acquisitions and Global business practices. They will assist in architecting and documenting new processes for initiatives/acquisitions and overseeing their implementation, training & communications. This candidate will work at a senior level as a trusted advisor to all interested parties. The work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/ business skills. Responsibilities: 12 years of relevant experience and 10 years of experience as a people and team leader. Lead a team of business analysts and project managers. Manage projects and enhancements in B2B and OPS. Liaise with stakeholders to prioritize and define projects and enhancements to OAL. Be an advocate for online / no touch indirect transactions. Keep the tools up to date with latest products and regional requirements. Serve as a liaison with other divisions to ensure complete, thorough and effective business processes. Ensure that all new processes meet or exceed the requirements of stakeholders, including partners. Produce metrics that provide data for process measurement and success management. Provide impact assessments of proposed compliance or business changes. Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
