For over 56 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision fluid measuring device we manufacture.iJob DescriptioniThis position will support Robotics in the coordination of tactical marketing activities for the Microlab VANTAGE Liquid Handling System to yield performance and profit consistent with market research and company objectives. Responsible for knowing customer needs and assessing competition by product comparison. Determine product pricing and forecasting based on market research, production costs and anticipated demand. Work closely with RandD to ensure that the strategic directions, as established by the product roadmap and life cycle management, are being completed in a timely manner. Bring new products to market with return-on-investment analysis. Work with the sales director to create product sales strategies, while creating long and short term product sales forecasts and analysis for management. Assists in the preparation of marketing communication objectives and statistical reporting. Market new products with sales, advertising and production teams. Ensure that the planning, development and execution tasks of new product launch, marketing plans, promotions, and project planning are within specifications and on time. Continue professional and technical education, attending workshops, seminars, etc.iEnsure that the developing objectives, marketing strategies, and plans for VANTAGE-related products are implemented successfully. The plans will include, but are not limited to, market information, communications plans, budgets, selling plans, customer/product feedback, and appropriate financial analyses.Assist in the monitoring of sales and profit performance of VANTAGE-related products within specified market and implement prices, consistent with company costs and profit strategies to maintain acceptable profit margins.Support the development of new VANTAGE Assay Read Workstations with Market Segment Leadership and ensure that all functional requirements will be part of the final product.Know customer needs through market data and research. Responsible for gathering, compiling, and analyzing competitor information on an on-going basis. Keep sales force informed of competitive developments and create counter strategies.Develop product line and appraise new product ideas for market viability. Responsible for creating proposals and managing the product team, including coaching, planning, and monitoring. Facilitate interactions with RandD to insure proper implementation of product features, keeping track of achieved milestones.Help in the planning and execution of the product development process for all VANTAGE-related products and accessories, conduct product modification and execute life cycle plans for all existing products.iQualificationsiBS Degree in Science required. MBA preferred.Must have good planning, budget, and customer skills, and be able to demonstrate them to an audience.Prior product management and product development experience is a must.Prior project management experience is desired.Sales planning, forecasting and financial planning are desired.Requirements analysis, including pricing and planning, as well as competitive analysis is highly desired.Working knowledge and technical expertise in laboratory automation is highly desired.A good working knowledge of computers is a must.Experience with capital scientific equipment is highly desired.Must have good written and verbal s
