Deburrer/FinisherBusiness Entity:Hamilton CompanyLocation:Reno, NVJob DescriptionHamilton Company is looking for a Deburrer/Finisher to work with our team. The Finisher will be working in our Machine Shop under the immediate supervision of the Machine Shop supervisor. They will perform various tasks associated with the manufacture of a multitude of machined parts to ensure a defect free product.Other responsibilities may include:Consistently deburr machined parts so as not to hinder future sequencesMaintain entire area in and around deburr bench in a neat and orderly mannerResponsible for providing positive communication to all concerned with the manufacture of machined partsProvide all precautions to ensure personal and departmental safetyReports any problems to supervisor and/or leadpersonMay perform other duties as assigned by supervisorQualificationsKnowledgeable about MSDS sheets as they pertain to department chemicals and proceduresFamiliar with all machine safety precautions and follow rigorously to prevent machine crashes/damages and ensure longevity of machineMust consistently maintain a production rate of 95% or better while not exceeding a 1% defect rate in compliance with current quality standard associated with run partsFamiliar with the correct use of all deburring tools for a wide variety of parts and utilize same so as not to damage or scar machined partsMust demonstrate the effective use of all applicable measuring devicesAble to read, interpret, and understand blueprints as they relate to deburring partsMust demonstrate excellent trouble-shooting techniques as they pertain to qualityMust be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objectsMust be able to reach, bend, and stoopEducation and ExperienceMust have High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years experience as a DeburrerTechnical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program completion preferredCompany DescriptionHamilton Company is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated and robotic products for precision fluid measuring.
