It is the primary responsibility of the Supplier Diversity & Sustainability Manager to manage the daily operations of the company’s Supplier Diversity program. This includes driving supplier diversity and sustainability, strategic business goals, plans, projects and supplier portfolio through management and metrics, compliance and key performance indicators. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads cross functional teams to achieve milestones and organizational objectives and goals by consulting with Procurement and enterprise business leaders to ensure inclusion of diverse suppliers, environmental, and sustainable alternatives.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to manage supply chain engagement and reduction of ‘scope 3’ emissions associated with purchased goods and services to understand and improve the Company’s performance with major third party ESG ratings.
Review and interpret supplier diversity & sustainability data sets, develops strategic category plans and dashboards to enhance program initiatives; makes recommendations for appropriate course of action.
Cultivates collaborative relationships by serving as the primary advocate for supplier diversity within the business community. Builds relationships with key stakeholders across the company and community to facilitate achievement of social impact goals.
Develop and deliver an integrated social and environmental supply chain communications strategy, marketing plans, and trainings to create momentum and drive awareness of our initiatives and impact.
Identify, negotiate, contract, and manage outsourced third parties supporting Sustainable Procurement initiatives and projects.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Finance
2+ Years work experience in advance Sustainable Procurement program
2 year experience leading complex project including cross functional team management
3-5 years experience in corporate sustainability
