It is the primary responsibility of the Director of Horticulture Operators to manage and direct all aspects of interior and exterior landscape displays, floral displays, grounds maintenance, and facilities maintenance. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental, property and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines .


  • Directs planning and design of new initiatives and projects for Horticulture and Floral department across all properties; Researches and secures designs and materials for new floral and landscaping displays.

  • Prepare, implement, and monitor overall budget to include staffing, labor, supplies, revenues, and overall profitability.

  • Provide strategic insight toward and makes recommendations for short-term and long-term capital improvements.

  • Develop and lead company and departmental strategic plans, initiatives, and projects for the Horticulture and Floral teams.

  • Develop and maintain third party service contracts relative to areas of responsibility; review and monitor, re-negotiate current vendor contracts to reduce costs.

  • Lead the design, details, specification, layout, material procurement, traveling and site inspections of new and ongoing projects for the properties, including master prop plans and building multi-use prop

  • Manage Human Resources responsibilities to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; compliance with company and department policies, and legal requirements.

  • Other job-related duties as requested.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Four (4) years of prior relevant experience in horticulture and/or floral


  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.


  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
