Job Description

CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our Benefit Verification team in our Las Vegas, Nevada location! A Benefit Verification Representative will provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. As part of this role you will verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients in order to process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a performance-driven individual.

Our hours of operation are anytime between 7:30am – 7:30pm local time, Monday – Friday. You must be flexible to work different shifts, 40 hours a week with potential overtime on the weekends and/or holidays. In office training lasts 3 weeks from 8am – 4:30pm local time, Monday – Friday as well.

Required Qualifications

• 6 + months of experience with one of the following: medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing or a related healthcare field

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience

• Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendors

Education

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
