A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

As Regional Strategic Program Planning and Execution Program Manager (PgM), you will be responsible for the successful delivery of your regional Retrofit Portfolio, consisting of projects on operational campuses not directly attributed to construction of new data center buildings. Utilizing your leadership and influence, you will ensure consistent execution of business priorities, while identifying and developing scalable solutions to project risks as well as process inefficiencies. Your role will include dotted-line management together with mentorship of site-based managers and consultants, with key partnering with Regional construction Managers. You will help the team be successful by removing roadblocks, ensuring teams have and understand the tools and resources needed to deliver our business needs and key performance indicators.

Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

  • Liaison between Global Retrofit programs, Project Controls, Construction Management and Product Management teams to ensure regional and global alignment with procurement and execution strategies as well creating an environment to support cross-functional teams meeting key performance indicators.

  • Stakeholder management ensuring accountability for planning providing visibility onto resource needs and create plans related to the delivery and management of Google's Facility Capital Assets.

  • Build relationships of trust and reliability with partner teams, both internal and external organizational teams, to understand prioritizations of work as it relates to business needs and throughput.

  • Develop vendor assignment strategies to ensure resources availability in a dynamic planning environment, delivering quality products in a safe manner.

  • Support Project Managers throughout construction to deployment, including oversight and fluency in cost controls, project scheduling, and job site safety.
