Applied Memetics LLC Contact Tracer - Onsite (Elko, NV) in Elko, Nevada
AM Trace has immediate openings to support state and local efforts to fight the COVID-19 Contact Tracing program, nationwide. This position will begin immediately.
Background: The scale and complexity of the COVID-19 outbreak has underscored the need for prompt and effective implementation of evidence-based containment measures. Contact tracing is one of the interventions that has been used to effectively control recent pandemics (Ebola, SARS), and has shown to be effective against COVID-19 mitigation in South Korea, New Zealand and elsewhere.
AM Trace LLC has identified over 18,000 qualified and motivated candidates who have responded to our call to action to support COVID-19 response efforts. Our candidates are located throughout the U.S., come from a variety of backgrounds, and possess the skills and personal qualities necessary to work as Contact Tracers, Case Investigators, and Case Navigators.
This is an onsite position in Elko, Nevada.
Make follow up calls to patients after initial call by EPI/Contact Investigator
Document the names and contact information of all individuals who have had contact with a COVID-19 patient
Trace and notify all contacts who have potentially interacted with an infected individual
Maintain appropriate discretion with the information
Track and document all health data (using an IHS provided software)
Refer contacts for additional testing or health care services as identified
Minimum Qualifications/ Experience Requirement:
- Health care experience or customer service-oriented professionals with experience of frequently interacting with customers.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience Requirement:
Qualified candidate who is local to the community or reservation
Qualified candidate who is fluent in the major Native language of the local community or reservation
Call center skills (patience, communication, listening, composure, resilience, and persuasion skills) - a portion of work may be conducted via established protocols and scripts
Candidate who can provide onsite support
Candidate with health care training and experience (RN/PHN, Pharmacist, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or related field
