CBRE Sr. Product Designer in Carson City, Nevada
Sr. Product Designer
Digital and Technology
Requisition # 20023929
Post Date Oct 20, 2020
SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER
Why you’ll want to join us!
This role is remote, reporting to the Head of User Experience, who also works remotely. You can become the 2nd User Experience professional on a new and growing team. The small scale of the team belies its outsized impact on the product and the business. Your drive, passion, and skill will be appreciated,
valued, and will make a large difference in the overall success of the company. This is not a ‘cog in the machine’ position. Do you want to make peoples’ SaaS tools a delight to use on the job every day? Do you want to improve workflows and save millions of dollars? It’s a target-rich environment and we need a
sharpshooter. We prefer a laissez-faire management style, hiring the best and providing support rather than micromanagement. ‘Identify your visionaries and empower them’ is our motto.
FacilitySource needs an exceptional Senior Product Designer who enjoys solving complex problems with data-informed, elegant design solutions. This person will help create a best-in-class Enterprise SaaS product with desktop and mobile touchpoints.
To us, a product designer has the skills of an empathetic researcher, an innovative designer, and an insightful competitive analyst who sees the larger scope of the product in the market. A Product Designer performs discovery research with users, creating journey maps, task flows, and developing prototypes to test their concepts and designs with users. They are adept collaborative partners with stakeholders and our friends in Product, Engineering, and QA.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate closely with the Head of UX, stakeholders, Product Managers, Developers and QA to ship an extraordinary end-to-end user experience
Create interactive prototypes and wireframes that demonstrate engaging, efficient, and intuitive solutions to problems and requirements for products and features
Effectively articulate user, business and technical reasoning for design decisions, creating consensus within stakeholder groups
Assist in establishing a design system to ensure the successful technical implementation of your work
Champion the tenets of good product design and leverage partnerships with others to build awareness of Design Thinking throughout the organization
Interact with users to develop a solid understanding of their workflows, environments, needs and pain-points
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
