The District Facility Manager- Retail, will be an integral part of the facilities team and will also interface with groups across the organization to ensurea positive internal and external customer experience. In this role, The DFM will be the point of contact for store operations in the geographic area for all repair and maintenance related issues with the goal to drive building and equipment uptime. This is a new business line (Grocer with new technology implementations) for the client, and it is critical this person balance the operational requirements while helping to build and implement the processes and procedures. The DFM will respond to a wide variety of on-site requests, providing proactive, knowledgeable, and engaged servicewhile creatively exceeding expectations.The DFM will manage responsibilities in order to effectively support the client store operations team and ultimately the consumer.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Strategically align with District, Regional and Corporate operational goals

Drive continuous improvement.Implement and monitor standards of service to meet and exceed expectations. Look for opportunities to improve efficiencies across operations and expenditures, and todrive building and equipment reliability and uptime.Ensure stores are open and operational – coordinate items off-hours as required

Effectively communicate with different levels of stakeholders

Act as Facility Operations and Maintenance lead

Project intake and execution

Manage Vendor/Supplier work and relations

Establish and ensure execution of SOP

Use data and information along with client FM team to check, plan, and adjust SOP and SOW

Ensure the right team is in place

Manage and forecast budgets

Ensure Safety Culture

Coordinate and engage with Landlord

Coordinate regularly with 3 rd party CMMS system and WO execution

Be “On-Call” to resolve issues in assigned region. Regularly communicate with after-hours staff to help resolve any issues that may arise

Understand the importance of data accuracy and the use of data to inform and influence change

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years in Facility Management, or equivalent

Facilities Management experience

Professional certifications preferred

Proven record of continuous improvement

Previous experience in retail management

Proven ability to guide and coach team members across different units

Demonstrated capacity to use curiosity to find opportunities to create amazing outcomes

Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivation and organizational skills with the initiative and ability to complete projects in a timely manner, and proven ability to work under pressure

Physical Aspects of Position:

Physical Aspects of the Position include but are not limited to the following:

Frequent standing and walking

Travel to stores (travel up to 50% of time)
